Roya & Chain are funded + secret route. All sprites get a revamp. This is all made possible with your help. I initially thought we'll only reach one route.
I got many questions about how long the development will take. For sure it won't be nearly 6 years again, haha. I already started with writing scripts and planning. Ideally, I hope to finish it around Dark Night's anniversary (31st October) but that is the earliest I can think of. Although, quality goes above speed. I hope to deliver a good experience!

Thank you for the incredible support on this project over all these years. After multiple requests, I considered starting a campaign for extra routes. The choices are Roya, Chain, and a hidden character. The first goal is funded so one route will be added as a DLC later. The Ko-Fi campaign reached 63% and runs until 31st January https://ko-fi.com/pinlin

I really enjoyed playing the game so far, so I'm looking forward to extra routes. Chain is my guilty pleasure in every route (the CGs with his glowing eyes are amazing).
I really enjoy the elusiveness of his character through the other routes. In some, he can be understanding (like how he is toward Kurato's curse), and in other routes he dies hating and misunderstanding the love interest and/or other sympathetic characters (like in Zeikun's and Junoru's routes), and even arrests and possibly (probably) kills poor Sachiro in Junoru's route. Idk what it is about him but it's quite fascinating.
I read your post about how Chain is a hard character to write, and I can certainly understand that. It's hard to make a character elusive and charismatic like Chain, because it's too easy to accidentally pop the figurative balloon of narrative tension. If he's too hard to understand or inconsistent without good reason, then it becomes confusing, but if his motives and thinking processes are too predictable, he'll be boring. Regardless of how it turns out, I am firmly of the belief that an attempt at a character like Chain is better than shying away at all. I hope everything is going well.
is the new update is can be played on steam?
The DLC for new routes will be available on both Steam and itch.

Hello, thank you for considering and the support. About your questions:
- All contributions on itch between 31st October 2021 to the deadline will be added to the campaign.
- The DLC will be sold for around $5+. Contributors who donated $3 or more will get it for free. So far, two goals have been met so the DLC contains 2 routes. New soundtrack files are not included.
- The current soundtrack pack is sold for $10. It will be updated with future tracks. People who already bought it will get a free update.
- In addition, all contributors to the campaign get a free artbook pdf. This will be sold for around $10 after the campaign ends.

after chain was funded is there any chance that you would make another campaign for roya/unknown boy or is this the only chance
This would be the only chance. If the 2nd/secret route don't get funded, I plan to drop all my ideas into the artbook.
